Tartan Challenges - Scent work
Once you have completed your scent work class, you are eligible to enter our online challenges. These are totally optional but are only open to class graduates. Completion will earn you a bespoke Tartan Training badge!

Work your way through the challenge appropriate to your class. Each challenge contains 5 levels. The challenges are based on skills you have learned in class.
You have 6months to complete the challenge and there are no refunds once purchased.

By placing the challenges online, there is no pressure to 'perform on the day'. The challenges are designed that you familiarise yourself with the rules and practise at home. Watch your videos back and once you are happy, send them in for assessment. Videoing your searches is also the best way to learn!

Each challenge contains at least one blind search so you will need another person to place out your hide and confirm if you are correct.

Submission is by video to your class instructor (Nikki or Ali) via WhatsApp. Each challenge costs £25; this allows you to submit one video for each level of the challenge. You will be allowed 2 resubmissions per challenge. Any additional submissions will be charged at £5.

Wee Dram Challenge: This challenge focuses on lead handling skills and building the dogs confidence.

Malt Master Challenge: This challenge focuses on indications and independent search skills.
