Take your trailing journey to the next level with our progressive award system. Designed to be both challenging and achievable, our format helps you and your dog grow as a confident, capable team.

 

All new teams begin with Level 1, where you’ll master the essential foundation skills that set you up for success. With each new level, you’ll build on your knowledge, expand both theoretical and practical skills, and strengthen your teamwork.

Our unique Skill Up Sessions are designed to give you targeted practice, covering key elements such as:

Split trails, Tracking, Vehicle pick-ups and much more.

​

Themed and seasonal challenges will ensure there's plenty of fun for the human's too, including The Haggis Hunt, Witches and Water Crossings and Pirate Treasure Hunt to name a few!

​

Every year, we host the ultimate scent work weekend "Murder Camp!", where teams compete using their human brains and their dogs noses to solve the mystery!

Skill ups and themed events will be advertised on your instructors website, check out All Wagged Out and Cheeky Wee Rascals for dates.

These sessions will focus on skills such as; scent discrimination, indications, night trailing, the art of the trail layer, to name a few. Learn the skills as a team and then incorporate them into your trails.

 

Think of your skill up sessions as training FOR the situation rather than training directly IN the situation. Just like all dog training, learning and proofing the foundations are key to success.
